Meggan Mattson
Meggan has over 15 years of experience in college counseling. She started her professional career working on the college side as a college admissions counselor. Working for both a small private college and then a larger public university gave Meggan a unique outlook on what colleges are looking for in prospective students. After eight years on the college side, Meggan worked as a high school counselor for another six years, guiding many students and families through the college process. Meggan earned her undergraduate degree from Bradley University (Peoria, IL) and her M.S.Ed. from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL). She is an active member of both RMACAC and NACAC, has served on IACAC, RMACAC ,and NACAC committees, served as the Co-Chair for Jefferson County’s College Counseling Committee, and has presented at professional conferences. She enjoys staying active in the field and continuously learning, as the college search and selection process continues to change.

Mike Deutsch
Mike, a graduate of Regis High School and University, has spent his entire career in education. He taught high school English literature and writing for 15 years before earning his Masters Degree in school counseling and serving as the post-grad coordinator at Conifer High School and Chatfield Senior High for 16 years. The affable father of two college students, Mike combines his experiences as a teacher, counselor, father and coach to provide pragmatic, student-centered services that recognize the unique skills, preferences, and aspirations of the students with whom he works. Now, retired from the public sector, Mike’s passion for helping students and their families allows him to focus solely on the college admissions process. With expertise in NCAA admission requirements and a strong belief in the importance of “fit”, Mike and Meggan team up to offer unique, experienced, and knowledgeable information for ALL STUDENTS searching to find the best school to pursue their goals.
